A Decade of Diaspora Storytelling
Since its founding in 2013 by Festival Director Fide Dayo, the African Diaspora Cinema Festival (ADCF) has grown into the world’s largest Black film and arts festival. Now celebrating its 10th edition from 2–5 September 2026, ADCF returns to Florence, Italy, hosted at InStabile – Culture in movimento.
More Than Cinema
ADCF is a cultural constellation:
- Film screenings spanning features, shorts, documentaries, and music films.
- Live performances of music and dance.
- Fashion exhibitions and book presentations that showcase diasporic creativity.
- Panels and workshops led by industry professionals, sparking dialogue and skill‑sharing.
Each year, the festival attracts filmmakers and artists from Africa, the U.S., the Caribbean, South America, Europe, Asia, and beyond, making Florence a crossroads of global Black creativity.
