1. Tell us what drives you? What is your true passion in life?
What drives me is seeing people realize their potential despite the challenges they face. My true passion is empowering women, youth, and marginalized communities to believe in themselves, access opportunities, and build sustainable futures.
Through Vessels of Virtue Global and VOV FC, I have dedicated my life to creating platforms that transform lives through education, entrepreneurship, leadership development, healthcare, and sport.
2. How did you find your passion and how old were you?
My passion was born from personal adversity. Having experienced loss, hardship, and responsibility from a young age, I understood what it felt like to need support and opportunity. In my early twenties, I began actively working with women, youth, and vulnerable communities and realized that my purpose was to help others overcome barriers and create pathways for success.
3. What about your passion appeals to you the most?
What appeals to me most is witnessing transformation. There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing someone gain confidence, acquire skills, start a business, pursue education, or achieve a dream they once thought was impossible. Through VOV FC, seeing young players develop their talent and confidence brings me immense joy.
4. What drove you to make money from your passions?
I wanted to build sustainable impact. While passion creates purpose, sustainability creates longevity. Generating income through initiatives allows us to expand our programmes, reach more beneficiaries, and ensure that our work continues to create meaningful change for future generations.
5. When was the first time you were paid for your passion?
The first time I was paid for my passion was when I began consulting, speaking, and developing programmes that empowered women and entrepreneurs. It was a powerful realization that purpose and impact could also create economic value.
6. What kept you going when you thought about giving up?
My faith, my vision, and the people I serve. Every time I considered giving up, I would remember the women, youth, and communities depending on opportunities that our programmes provide. Their success stories reminded me why I started.
7. What motivates you every day to be even more successful?
The desire to leave a lasting legacy. I want to create opportunities that outlive me and build institutions that continue empowering people long into the future. Every life transformed motivates me to do more.
8. What do you have to say to all of the people who doubted you?
I am grateful to them. Doubt taught me resilience, strengthened my determination, and pushed me to work harder. Sometimes the greatest motivation comes from proving to yourself—not others—that your dreams are possible.
9. What advice do you give to aspiring creatives who look up to you?
Never underestimate the power of consistency. Start where you are, use what you have, and keep moving forward even when progress seems slow. Build with purpose, remain teachable, embrace failure as part of the journey, and never allow other people’s limitations to define your potential. Your passion can become your platform for impact if you remain committed to the vision.
