1. Tell us what drives you? What is your true passion in life?
What drives me is the belief that beauty and wellness are not luxuries; they are forms of healing, dignity, and empowerment. My true passion is helping people see themselves differently, to feel worthy and confident again. I come from a community where people are often overlooked and underestimated, and that fuels me to create spaces where they are celebrated. For me, passion is not just about making people look good on the outside, it’s about igniting something inside them — hope, courage, and self-love.
2. How did you find your passion, and how old were you?
I found my passion as a young girl. Growing up, I would often watch how people carried themselves when they felt overlooked or broken, and it touched me deeply. I started experimenting with beauty, hair, and simple treatments on friends and family, and I realised the incredible power of transformation. The smile, the posture change, the light in their eyes , that became addictive to me. I was a teenager when I knew that this wasn’t just a hobby, it was my calling.
3. What about your passion appeals to you the most?
What appeals to me most is the ability to touch lives beyond the surface. It’s never just a facial or a massage; it’s about giving someone a moment of peace when life feels heavy, a reminder of their worth when they’ve forgotten it, or a chance to believe in their dreams again. My passion allows me to connect with people on a human level, beyond titles or circumstances, and that’s priceless.
4. What drove you to make money from your passions?
I didn’t choose this path because I thought it would make me rich; I chose it because it was the only thing that felt real to me. But I quickly realised that to sustain my passion and extend it to others, I needed to build a business around it. Money became the tool, not the goal. It allowed me to expand, create jobs, and train others, especially women who also came from difficult beginnings, to empower them with skills and independence.
5. When was the first time you were paid for your passion?
I’ll never forget the first time I was paid. It wasn’t a large amount, but it felt like the biggest reward in the world. I had done a treatment from home, and the person handed me money with so much gratitude. In that moment, I realised I had something of value, a gift that could support me and also serve others. That first payment wasn’t just money; it was proof that my dream could become a reality.
6. What kept you going when you thought about giving up?
There were many moments where giving up felt easier. Times when finances were tight, when people doubted me, or when I felt I wasn’t moving fast enough. But what kept me going was my “why.” I wasn’t just doing this for myself — I was doing it for my son, my community, and every young person who needed to see that where you come from doesn’t determine where you can go. I knew if I gave up, I wouldn’t just lose my dream — I’d also silence the hope of those who were watching me. That responsibility became my strength.
7. What motivates you every day to be even more successful?
What motivates me is the impact I can make. Every day I wake up knowing that someone will be touched by the work I do , whether it’s a client leaving the spa lighter and happier, or a student gaining the skills to start their own career. Success, to me, is measured by how many lives I can touch and transform. That vision keeps me pushing for more, because I know my work has the power to ripple far beyond me.

To everyone who doubted me, I say thank you. Your doubt became my drive. It taught me resilience, sharpened my vision, and made me more determined to succeed.
